Award Nominations

We are now accepting nominations for two awards given by HACD each year. Please consider nominating those colleagues that truly make a difference in the lives of individuals with communication disorders.

Better Hearing & Speech Month Award

This award is presented to a community person dedicated within his or her own field to promoting the need for professionals who provide services for individuals with communication disorders.

Tina Bangs Award

This award is given to a member of HACD (not necessarily a speech-language pathologist or audiologist) who has given unique service to this professional organization over an extended period of time.

To nominate someone for either award, please submit a 200-250 word description as to why the nominee is deserving of the award. All nominations should be sent to Peggy Blake (either via mail or email) at the address below. Nominations must be received by March 15, 2010. Award winners will be honored at the HACD Banquet on May 3, 2010.
